But this Newman hits it right on the mark when it comes to what ails today's Canadian parliament. It's the soup-nazi-like resolve of so-called leader Harper, whose only broth is boiled in deception, lies and broken ethics.
I can just imagine the huffery and puffery that his one-time colleague but no-time equal Mike 'I'm all right jack' Duffy (who is surprisingly more like Seinfeld's Newman) would respond with.

What an excellent article by Newman! Nails Harper completely & how his tactics have trickled down to all party's causing such suspicion/paranoia. Sad. How can MP's allow Harper to have so much power over them - & I mean all MP's.
Very true. Where are the ethical and morally upstanding conservatives in that party? Have they all swallowed their responsibility to the public and their faith in a higher power to serve one narcissist? We know that part of their 'moral compass' is being directed by hatred -- hatred of liberals primarily. Somewhere they forgot why they got into public service, or never had it...
